Thomas P. Heinz is an award-winning graphic designer and visual journalist with more than 35 years of experience in editorial publication (The Chicago Tribune), marketing (The Baltimore Sun), and corporate communication (Loyola University). Thomas holds degrees in Art Education (B.A.), Advertising and Illustration (A.A.), and Graphic Design (M.F.A.).

During his career, he received numerous awards for page design and illustration from the Society of News Design as well as Awards for Outstanding Professional Performance from the Chicago Tribune. Noted in these awards for his ability to organize information and to creatively present it in compelling and easy to understand form, he was also recognized for his ability to work with editors and other clients to create fresh and innovative results to a wide variety of projects in the field of print design—skills he continues to bring to his current work.

While developing a thesis, Thomas created photo compositions which became the basis for a collection entitled “Time Frames: The mutability of color and light in nature.” These pieces are available as limited edition fine art prints.

Thomas also enjoys creating one-of-a-kind containers he calls Flower boxes. He sells these periodically at galleries and by commission.

Whether it is to fulfill your graphic design needs or to provide you with breathtaking imagery of time passing in nature, Thomas looks forward to working with you.
